Haven't spoken about my job jet. If I didn't have job here I couldn't live here because Switzerland is expensive. Fact. I work on the mountain, in a hotel-restaurant called Nagens...
One work day:
6:30 - wake up, eat
7:30 - cable car from Laax to Crap Sogn Gion
7:45 - snowboard down from Crap to Plaun
7:50 - gondola from Plaun to Nagens
8:15 - start working
10:30 - LUNCH! wtf, kinda early but yeah, who has time to eat when people are destroying the mountain from 11-15:00?
15:00 - coffee break because people are gone and finished killing the slopes
16:45 - let's snowboard back home
17:25 - home

Most of the days we go down by snowboard but when work is really busy or weather is horrible then we must go down by gondola. We prefer snowboard of course because then we can get straight back to Rocksresort (Laax) but gondola takes us to Flims (have to take bus from there to get home).
Anyway, the "slope" we normally take isn't actually on the map and is closed. One day (30th of Dec), when it snowed a lot, I and Reelika decided to go home via James Bond (that's the name of the piste). We saw some skiers' tracks and started to go down. There was a lot of powder and suddenly the tracks stopped. After "making" the way though 60cm powder and realizing that it takes forever, we also did a shortcut thought the woods. Fuck! That was horrible and crazy. I got stuck all the time because the snow in the forest was so deep. Really really scary! But we knew that we must get out of there because it was dark already. We even considered calling to SOS but na, we managed to swim/slide/crawl/walk/jump/drop out of snow and got on the field which connects James Bond and Curnius slope. But damn... even there wasn't any tracks... only ones that took us again to the forest. Oh boy! At this point the fear changed into happiness because we found ourselves in someone's backyard... Okay, wrong way but still cool. Hiked back to forest, found a car road and yeah, sledged down on our snowboards. This was the funniest experience ever... I kinda knew that the road takes us to Laax because I think I had been there but oh well... drifted down to the village and when the street lamps started, we snowboarded down to Laax. People at the bus stop were looking us like ghosts - 2 girls, super snowy, coming down on the car road from the dark forest. Instead of 25 mins it took 2 hours to get back home but it was fun... at least ended up well.
We also had that kind of Welcome Day at Riders Palace. There were 2 guys making jokes and doing silly things. All in German so those 2 hours were kinda boring to me. Also some big bosses spoke about Weisse Arena and it's plans for this winter... After the "show" people were just chilling, drinking, eating and I also met a couple of new people. Very nice.
