Once upon a time in Fidaz

I have to admit that I haven't been snowboarding for almost 3 weeks now. That's why all of my recent posts are about nature shots and regular life. I know nothing what's going on in all those cool snowparks that Laax have this season. Haven't been to Crap for a long time because now I'm going to work from Flims.

Anyway, my excuse is my knee... I injured it while snowboarding but I didn't fall or twist it. Just something happened inside my knee while just breaking on snow. I have no idea what (wish my knee could speak). After the accident i couldn't snowboard anymore and I still can't do it. When I strap onto my bindings I feel like my leg wants to come off because the stance and angles are so bad. The funny part is that I can walk, work... and now I can go swimming, running, gym... I'm already going to physiotherapist and seems like it's getting better but there are still some moments when I get really sharp short pain in the knee. Pretty awkward, I know, but tomorrow I'm finally going to Chur to do MRI scan to my knee. So the Wednesday is THE day when I get the feedback and finally get the answer to my biggest question: for how long do I have to suffer until I can do what I really love?

On the first week I was really worried, sad and confused... but oh well... injuries are just a part of snowboarding and I'm not the only injured one here. Life goes on, days get brighter!

Oh, that's Fidaz btw... a small village next to Flims, happy scrolling:
There was so much snow that it was kinda hard for me to take photos over those "fences".
Houses that are badly isolated look like that:
Crap Sogn Gion is like the Sun... you can see it from everywhere:
Sorry, I'm the architecture freak, I like buildings.
F * * * s
Gingerbread houses.
There's so much snow on the roofs that you cannot even see the chimneys anymore.
It's almost spring. Hopefully I will be able to ride by springsession...

Ciao!

Birth.day

Sooooo... on 10/02/2012 I got 20. I'm not old, I'm just older now. Day was pretty regular because I had to work. After that I, Alex and Reelika went to Chur to buy some stuff (like clothes, headphones, speakers etc). Aaaand... in the evening we went to Riders Palace. At first place we planned to go there just for some drinks and celebrate my unusual day (and see the ski movie haha) but but but... my dear roomie had organized me a surprise party. Oh wow! I stepped into Riders Palace and all of my friends started to sing me the bd song. I was like whaaaaaaat... really? Are you cereal (=serious)? It's really hard to surprise me but they managed to do it so I'm so proud of them! Thanks a lot!

I also got a cake... a big one... with 2 kickers and a marzipan snowboarder. That was cool:

I missed the ski movie because i was cutting the cake but whatever. Some photos of the movie premier taken by the local "paparazzi" Tobias Anliker:
Oh, there was a fashion show as well, meet the models:

Thank you my dear Reelika, Michaela, Michi, Martin, Riho, Maarja, Janoš, Veronika, Lucas, Sebastian, Steven, Adrian, Andreas, Andy, Michael, Jeremia, Robin, Dario, Pablo, Luk, Livio, Armin, Riders Palace and everyone else I saw there!

And another video I'd like to share because I'm happy that someone shared this with me:

Discosnow

On very very cold days weather was so cool... "disco snow" floating in the air:
Slopes were quite empty because the frost scared everyone away.

Evening was cool but not so shiny any more, just serious:

But the next morning... Oh heyyyy...
 ... and evening:

Oh, some stuff from flatland Estland:
PIUPAUPAUPIU
Bt, the highest point in Estonia is 318m. Did you notice it in the video?! :D

And Kelly new ep:

Flimsnight

It was one of the coldest nights so far but I still wanted to go out and take some photos because the sky was clear. This time I went for a walk in the forest. All alone...

Gorillaz-All Alone
Photos didn't come out so well, a bit too noisy (and blogger eats the photo quality as well), but whatever, next time will be better:
It's pretty sketchy to wander around in the woods alone but I kinda knew the "bath" so after 1h I finally found the spot I was looking for:
Mov-ing-m-e (wait... wait):
how to make gifs
And after 3 hours when I finally got back home, I looked like that:

And Crap Show #16:

I think those episodes are better every time. I mean the riding and cinematography part. Yup yup, waiting for the next video!

Oh, skiers have they're own Crap Attack... Check it out as well:

Day 11: Keep doing no matter how hard it seems, it will get easier.

It's 2017. Weird. It's already 5 years since I started with this blog and this year I'll turn 25 so the numbers are looking good...
